Its imposing floor to ceiling windows, stretching across the hotel’s expansive façade, allow for natural light to flow through the lobby, while revealing a tropical colonial décor obtained with wooden antique shutters, potted palms and Ivory colored Fortuny Sheherazade chandeliers. Through the vision of Diamante Pedersoli and Carmelina Santoro, who respectively count Ralph Lauren’s private residence and Bulgari retail stores as some of their crowing achievements, The Betsy Hotel comes alive.
Each Betsy Hotel’s 64 rooms and suites offer an airy sanctuary achieved with crisp white rooms accentuated by one of four different nature-inspired color schemes: fields of lavender in Provence, sunbathed Tuscan ochre, vibrant red coral, and fresh Spring green. For additional texture, Raffia covered ceilings, headboards and chairs lend an additional air of refinement and grace to every room. RATES: Room rates range from $400 to $750 nightly. Suites range from $1,110 to $4,000 nightly.
