MoveOn is launching a massive grassroots campaign for Green Energy and Green Jobs.
By working with environmentalists and community members across the country, we can
build the huge groundswell of public pressure that it will take to transform our economy.

This Campaign is based, in part, on Van Jones’ call (www.GreenforAll.org) to solve two
crises, global warming and poverty, through the creation of:
1. 5 million green jobs – ALL of them LIVING WAGE JOBS that cannot be exported
and that include training and career ladders
2. 100% clean electricity within 10 years
Through this campaign we are committed to creating many of those job opportunities in
Texas and to partnering with groups who have legislative initiatives at the State level - as
well as at the national level.
