Espetus Churrascaria Showcases Fine Wines from South America
Wine Maker Dinner Scheduled for February 28

San Francisco, CA - Espetus Churrascaria has announced a Wine Maker Dinner scheduled for Wednesday, February 28 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Wine Director Federico Nino of Bodega Nieto Senetiner (Mendoza, Argentina) and Winemaker Claudio Sapporta from Vinos Terranoble (Chile) will make presentations and answer questions.

Notable wines from South America selected by advanced sommelier candidate Yohannah Burmeister will be paired with five courses prepared by Espetus Chef Robson Barreto. The cost of the food and wine is $90.00 inclusive of tax and gratuity. Espetus introduced the Brazilian churrascaria style of dining to the Bay Area in 2003. The word espetus is a stylized version of the Brazilian word for skewer, which is the implement at the heart of “rodizio” service which involves serving meat spiced and cooked to perfection on skewers over an open fire, then immediately brought tableside and carved directly onto diners’ plates by trained carvers.

Espetus Churrascaria is located at 1686 Market Street (at Gough) in San Francisco.
