On Tuesday, April 17, 2007, Spenger’s Fresh Fish Grotto in Berkeley will host a Tax Relief celebration. This event is scheduled for the 17th because the usual deadline of April 15th falls on a Sunday this year, and Monday the 16th is “Emancipation Day,” a District of Columbia holiday, thus taxes are due on the 17th.
Guests who visit the restaurant on April 17th will be able to order $10.40 dinner specials (select menu items, available in the bar) and they will also receive a complimentary “Tax Relief Dining Certificate” good for $10.40 off their next dinner experience at the restaurant.
